Job Description:

Responsible for managing the company image through social media in a cohesive way to achieve marketing goals for the Lakeside Country Store and Lakeside Ampride as well as maintain the webstore by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Oversee social media accounts’ designs including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (original texts, photos, videos and news).
  • Collaborate with followers and monitor customer reviews.
  • Maintain webstore by updating products and manage the sales process from inventory to shipping.
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness such as, but not limited to, promotions and competitions related to Lakeside Country Store’s and Lakeside Ampride’s business goals and values.
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
  • Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education/Experience:

Associates degree in Communications, Advertising or Marketing: or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to apply common mathematical concepts. Basic understanding of accounting processes for P&L and expense management.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

 

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the latest digital technologies and social media outlets.
